Ingredients you'll need

  • 2 cups puffed quinoa (alternatively: rolled oats)
  • 1 cup buckwheat flakes (alternative: rolled oats)
  • 1 large handful of cashew nuts, chopped
  • 5 dates, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1/3 cup coconut oil
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • Let's get cookin'

    1. mix all dry ingredients (puffed quinoa, buckwheat flakes, chopped cashew nuts, chopped dates, cinnamon and salt) well in a bowl
    2. melt the coconut oil and maple syrup together in a pan
    3. combine the melted mixture with the dry ingredients and mix well
    4. spread the mixture evenly on a baking tray
    5. bake at 180°C for 15-20 minutes
    6. allow to cool completely
    7. store in an airtight container
